Just Finished Reading: Clara’s Rib

I am having a lazy Sunday afternoon. Haven’t had one of those in a while. These days I feel like I need to slow down and enjoy the non-work aspects of my life more. So, I am spending this afternoon and evening catching up on recipe-blogging and continuing/starting art projects on my “I want to do” list.

I recently finished reading Clara’s RIb: A true story of a young girl growing up in a Tuberculosis hospital. Clara’s inner strength and positive outlook on life make her truly inspirational! I greatly enjoyed reading her diary, which created vivid images of what life was like in the San. It was also interesting to read about Harold Mouré (T’s granduncle) through Clara’s eyes.
